History

This College was established in August 2016. It was initially started in the campus of GSSS Dhaneta and affiliated provisionally to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. During 2019, privately managed erstwhile GZS College was merged into Govt. Degree College Dhaneta. At present GDC Dhaneta is running in the campus of this erstwhile privately managed College. This campus spreads over an area of approx 0-41-47 hectare. Another land area of 1-74-98 hectare( at a distance of 1 Km) has been allotted for the new upcoming college campus which now stands transferred in the name of Department of Higher Education and handed over to construction agency HPPWD.
